The wildly popular Chicago Crime Tour is back! This tour was so well received, let’s do it again – this time with lunch at Astor Hall.
If you’re not familiar with this tour, you will escape into Chicago’s mafia underworld on an infamous Chicago crime, and architectural tour. You’ll hear true crime stories about Chicago gangsters (Al Capone, Frank “The Enforcer” Nitty, John Dillinger); H.H. Holmes (the world’s 1st serial killer, from Chicago’s 1893 World Fair). You will see historic landmark buildings like the Biograph Theatre, Holy Name Cathedral and more. This is just a sample of what you’ll see on this exciting tour. After the tour, you’ll take a two-minute walk and have lunch at the famous Aster Hall in the Bloomingdale building. Aster Hall will offer you a variety of food to choose from. You will receive a $20 gift card to purchase your choice of food from Small Cheval (hamburgers, cheeseburgers), Lil’s Boots (handmade pasta & Italian subs), Lost Lily’s (stir fry & dumplings), Char Star (hot dogs, corn dogs), Ginza Ramen (vegetarian options), or enjoy a yummy dessert at The Chocolate Bar. Want to hear some of the Four Tops and sing/hum along to “Sugar Pie Honey Bunch”, “Reach Out and I’ll Be There”, “Baby I Need Your Loving”. If you want to “Second That Emotion” or snap your fingers to “You Really Got A Hold of Me”, you will enjoy The Reflections paying tribute to Smokey Robinson and the Miracles. Maureen will entertain you with her creative style, warm stage presence and crystal-clear voice. Accompanying Maureen will be Saxophonist Michael Bazan.
