These options are available for those interested in playing Shuffleboard:

Tournament Shuffleboard
When: Dates will be updated at the beginning of the season
Where: Carillon Shuffleboard Courts are located by the clubhouse near the outside swimming pool. Equipment is located in the sport shed alongside the clubhouse near the shuffleboard courts and open to all residents, but the door must remain locked when equipment is not in use. Registration takes place in the month of April and is posted on the clubhouse bulletin board and also listed in the community newsletter. A list of all registered residents is posted on the bulletin board one week before the tournament starts. During that time, residents are to check off if they are able to play on the next tournament date. Then the team and times are posted on the bulletin board the Saturday prior to the tournament date. All paid tournaments are scheduled on Monday mornings at 8:30am. Resident players must sign up 15 minutes before playing time. There are four tournament dates, one per month, at a total cost of $10.00 per person. All money collected from the tournaments are distributed back to the playing residents in the form of prizes at the banquet normally held in October.
Description: Shuffleboard was first enjoyed in 1532 in England. To play shuffleboard, two or four players using long handled cues(sticks), push four (4) discs down along the court to a scoring diagram. The challenge of the game is trying to land your discs on the highest or total number of points on the scoring diagram. Along with that, the strategy is to stay on the scoring diagram, but try knocking off your opponents discs from scoring.
Tournament:  Dates will be posted at the beginning of the season.
Evening Shuffleboard League
When: The Evening Shuffleboard League is scheduled to play for the entire season weekly from June until the end of September.

Times are scheduled when teams are to play and listed on the inside door of the sport shed. Each association has a captain and co-captain who coordinates who and when the associations players play. Shuffleboard playing times are held on Tuesdays at 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. A captain and co-captain meeting is held in April in the theatre in the clubhouse. Each association donates a $10.00 fee per sport and team. Money collected from the association fee is put into a fund that is used towards a banquet that is held in October.
