Chelsea

BACKGROUND

The Chelsea Community construction began in 1999 and was completed in 2000.  There are 36 one-story buildings that contain 178 units.  The six-unit buildings contain 132 town house units and consist of three models: the Scottsdale, Laguna and Carmel. The other fourteen buildings are villas and have a total of 46 units with four models: the Augusta, Pebble Beach, Turnberry and Cypress Point.  The villas, except for three units, are located on Douglas Lane or Douglas Court and back to beautiful views of the Links at Carillon golf course.  Some town homes have a pond view or an open expanse of lawn next to the building.  When constructed or with later approval, many homes have added options including fireplaces, basements, decks and three season rooms. 

MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE

EPI, Inc. manages the Association property under the direction of the five-member elected board of directors.  The Association’s board of directors is responsible for maintaining and replacing streets, driveways, sidewalks, landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, trash pick-up and the exteriors of the units.  The Chelsea Home Owners Association (HOA) has well funded reserves and Reserve Financial information is available to serious buyers.

COMMUNITY LIVING

The board and residents participate in Carillon and Chelsea activities that foster a friendly and welcome atmosphere. The Chelsea entrances are decorated throughout the year to greet residents and visitors.  The Activities committee plans breakfasts and luncheons for the women, various Chelsea events throughout the year and the men plan a monthly breakfast. Come and join us!
